BUILDING A FUTURE FOR FAMILIES

Equipping Families for Lasting Change

Midland Fair Havens works to strengthen families and create brighter futures for the next generation. Our privately funded, faith-based ministry is designed to equip families with tools to redeem the past, self-govern the present, and restore hope for the future. Through residential services, financial assistance, and free community programs, we walk alongside single mothers and their children every step of the way.

SAFE, TEMPORARY HOUSING
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

For single mothers and their young children who are determined and motivated to pursue educational or vocational goals, our residential program is designed to provide safe refuge, ample time, and practical resources needed to create positive, permanent change.

PARENTING CLASSES

For anyone caring for children, our free parenting classes are designed to decrease the stress and tension that often occur when raising children. Participants will learn how to avoid power struggles while setting limits, stay calm in stressful parenting situations, and teach children healthy problem-solving skills. Classes are taught by an independent facilitator of "Parenting the Love and Logic Way®" - a highly successful program built around the science of caring and respectful relationships.

Financial Services

For single mothers who are experiencing a temporary setback, our non-residential program offers financial assistance to prevent homelessness or loss of utilities. In addition, we also provide needs assessment with information and referral assistance to coordinate with community-based resources needed to stabilize a family in crisis.
